My two Shetland ponies had problems with coughing in winter. So the first thing I did was to wet their hay. At the same time, I tried to find something to support their airways and make it easier for them to cough. This is how I came across EQUISOLVAN® RESPIREPLUS. This is a feed supplement that has been specially developed to support the respiratory tract of horses. EQUISOLVAN® RESPIREPLUS contains extracts and essential oils that work together to clear the airways.
What particularly appealed to me was the handling. It contains an attachment with a pump function for precise dosing. As it also smells good and apparently tastes good, my ponies were very happy to take it. Otherwise it is always a bit difficult to administer medication.
It was a great way to get through the winter.
